The Isles of Lake Hancock community is a water skier’s paradise. It’s a private gated community nestled between two beautiful lakes. One is a members-only, world-class, purpose built, tournament ski lake. The other is legendary Lake Hancock, a small quiet natural lake that is part of the Hancock Chain of Lakes. This chain of natural lakes is ideal for recreational boating, wake surfing, fishing, and other water sports. Lake Hancock itself also offers an additional three slalom courses along its protected shorelines.
While the club’s private ski lake is reserved for the exclusive use of club members and guests, the community’s second man-made lake is home to the Drew Ross Ski Academy, which offers professional water ski coaching to the public most days of the year. Both world record holding lakes were engineered to provide ideal conditions for traditional three-event water skiing at the highest level, so both host some of the most prestigious slalom, jumping, and trick skiing tournaments in the sport.
